A cold and windy day saw Albion slip to defeat and make it 10 winless games in the league.
This encounter was totally one-sided as Albion did not look like a side who could win a game at this level. Hartlepool dominated and the domination paid off when a cross from the right side found Kyle who rose up to head past Kuipers.
Albion had a couple of chances in the first half but neither troubled the keeper.
The second half we had the wind behind us and we did play a bit better but that was not until the introduction of Cox and Thornton, for a spell of about 15 minutes we played some good football and could have equalised; Anyinsah had a shot from outside the box which smacked against the crossbar.
Hartlepool had a couple more chances with Kuipers making a good save. Brighton also had a good chance but in the end another defeat.
We have moved down to 18th now and I'm starting to get worried.
Kuipers could not kick in the first half just kept on smashing it and the wind caught it and took it out for a throw, why he didn't kick to the other side to keep it in I don't know. We are missing our front two and it is going to be two weeks before they are back.
I fear we will be in the relegation zone by then.
Only decent thing about the day £2 a pint and the biggest hot dogs I've ever seen.
