An awesome defensive display from the boys, which kept free-scoring Peterborough at bay.
The first half saw mostly dominance from the home side and they scored in the 13th minute. A header from a cross was ruled out after the referee saw a push on Richards in defence.
A couple of chances from Murray and McLeod but they did not threaten the keeper.
The second half saw it turn into a much livelier encounter, with Anyinsah and McLeod both having chances. Elphick and Kuipers denied efforts from Peterborough and the game finished in a stalemate.
Poor display by the referee - too many yellow cards, he thankfully picked up an injury and had to be replaced by the fourth official, then a new fourth official was picked by someone in the crowd!
A good result, which still leaves up in 17th but I never thought we would get anything from the game.
Another away trip Saturday to Hartlepool who won 5-3 against Huddersfield last night. We leave at 5.30am to get there - nice.
