An entertaining fixture at the very cold Withdean saw Albion throw away two points AGAIN!
Murray was the goal hero today, scoring his first before many people had even sat down - just 44 seconds after the match started. A great cross from Livermore found him unmarked and enabled him to head over the keeper into the net.
Cheltenham capitalised on some sloppy Brighton defending. On three minutes a run down the left and cross from Fleetwood saw Murray tap in from four yards to equalise.
The quick attacking pace didn't stop when a cross from Virgo was flicked on by Forster, then Murray took it round the keeper and put it into an empty net. Seven minutes played and the score was 2-1.
Cheltenham took over the game and had a few chances to level, and eventually did when a corner in the 45th minute was headed out by Elphick. Murray, on the edge of the box, smashed a shot into the top left corner of the goal - a superb strike and a deserved equaliser.
Albion started the second half as they did the first, with a goal. Murray scored again after great work on the left flank from Thornton. He delivered a cross straight onto Murray’s head making the score 3-2.
Just as the game was drawing to the end the referee dismissed Payne for diving in the box. This was his second yellow card. Personally from where I was I thought it was a penalty, but luckily it wasn't given. But Albion were to lose all three points again as the defence didn't concentrate. In the 94th minute the ball fell to an unmarked Gallinagh who scored to make it 3-3.
All in all a good performance but a disappointing result which leaves us14th. As for the booing - we got a good performance so booing is stupid. Don’t come if you’re going to boo, especially when we didn't lose and played well. OK, we should have seen the game out to win 3-2 but it wasn't meant to be.

Next match Orient in the Johnstone’s Paints Trophy. I feel we will win 2-0, Forster scoring both.
This week it has been said that the stadium will be built by the 2011 season. This is okay, I don’t mind if it takes a little longer, as long as it gets built in the end.
