Heavy rain and strong winds are expected to sweep through Sussex this weekend, the Met Office said in its latest weather warning.
A yellow weather warning has been issued for the entirety of Sussex, as well as the rest of England and Wales, ahead of up to 80mph winds and 25mm of rain.
The Met Office warning, put in place from Friday evening until Sunday morning, comes on the back of a spell of wind, rain and snow hitting Sussex across the last month.
Looking ahead to the weekend, a spokesman for the Met Office warned there was a “small chance” of damages to homes and businesses through flooding as well as a “slight chance” of damage through winds.
The Met Office added that around 15-25mm of rain was widely expected across the county.
Wind gusts could hit 80mph across the UK but speeds in Sussex are expected to be closer to 45mph.
Power cuts and flooding are also possible, the Met Office warned.
The warning is in place from 3pm on Friday, December 6, until 6am on Sunday, December 8.
Weather disruption comes off the back of Storm Bert and Storm Conall which wreaked havoc across Sussex with flooding, high winds and snow affecting some areas.
Flood warnings were also issued in certain parts of the county, however no alerts are yet to have been issued.
