Boxing legend Chris Eubank's nephew spewed 'abhorrent' racist and homophobic slurs at police after an argument with his girlfriend over £10.
Luke Eubank hurled the foul abuse at officers who had been called out to her home in Brighton following reports of a domestic incident.
Police spoke to the 39-year-old and returned later in the evening after he tried to break into the flat.
Prosecutor Edward Hand said the abuse started when officers told Eubank they were arresting him.
"When they came back, they had grounds to arrest him," Mr Hand said.
"He made threats which were racist and homophobic, he made verbal insults to three different police officers."

The comments made on August 9 last year were recorded on police body worn cameras.
He also threatened to 'cut up' an officer, adding: "One day I'll see you in town, look into my eyes."
He also said: "You've got a pretty nose, you won't have."
He was transferred to hospital where he pushed an officer in a corridor.
Judge Stephen Mooney said Eubank, who has previous convictions for driving offences and violence, behaved in an 'absolutely disgusting' way.
"He's committed offence, after offence, after offence," the judge said.
"I take the view the behaviour you demonstrated was absolutely appalling," the judge said.
Eubank revelled in the language he used, the judge said.
"You were trying to pick the most offensive language you could.
"It really was vile, abhorrent and despicable behaviour and you should be ashamed by the way you behaved."
Eubank spent 181 days on remand before being sentenced at the Crown Court in Brighton.
"It is simply not possible to sentence you to a term or imprisonment which exceeds the time you have served already.
"If I could, I would," the judge said.
Eubank was ordered to pay £200 compensation to each of the three officers he abused.
"Your behaviour was so bad you need to compensate these officers who were only doing their jobs," the judge added.
Eubank was cleared of battery and intentional strangulation.
He said: "My behaviour was abhorrent.
"I'm ashamed of myself."
He will serve an 18 month community order for each of the assaults on police to run concurrently and is required to do 20 days of rehabilitation activities.
He was bailed to an address in Sutlej Road in Charlton.
