A trail of Christmas trees designed by local artists has been set up in a city centre.
Residents in Chichester can experience the trail of 11 trees dotted around the city in various locations.
Seven of the trees have been specially commissioned as sculptures and inspired by Chichester Festival Theatre’s production of Hey! Christmas Tree, which runs from December 7 until December 29.
These include the “tree of 100 stars” at Chichester Cathedral, the “woven winter tree” at Priory Park and “home for Christmas” at Chichester Festival Theatre.
The trail will run until December 31.

Helen Marshall, CEO and chairwoman of Chichester BID, said: “The Christmas tree stroll is a wonderful opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy the charm of our city during the festive season.
“We’re delighted to have already seen such a wonderfully positive response to the trail with many of our followers on social media excited to go and explore it.
“Congratulations to our talented local artists on bringing our vision to life and thank you to our generous sponsors.
"This event truly brings the magic of Christmas to Chichester.”
