A person has been rescued after a fire broke out in a kitchen.
Emergency services attended to reports of a kitchen fire in Queen Square in Brighton at 2.53pm on Thursday.
Two fire engines and a police vehicle attended the scene.

One person was reported to have been rescued and handed over to the care of the ambulance service.
A spokeswoman said: "We were called on 28 November at 2.53pm to a kitchen fire in Queen Square, Brighton.
"Two fire engines from Hove and Preston Circus were in attendance. Crews used two breathing apparatus and a fire extinguisher to put the fire out.
"One person was rescued and handed over to the care of the ambulance service."
