A burger restaurant has released its newest Christmas offering – including a deep-fried camembert.
Honest Burger in Duke Street in Brighton has launched its Camembert Your Way dish, a beef, chicken or plant burger topped with the deep-fried cheese.
The new dish will be available in the restaurant until the new year.
The burger, described as “perfect for getting in the festive spirit”, includes a deep-fried camembert, bacon, cranberry sauce and rocket.
It is served either as a beef burger or with fried chicken or a vegan Beyond Meat patty.
The vegan burger is served with meat-free bacon and a plant-based cheese dubbed “shamembert”.
The burgers range from £15.50 to £16.50 and are available until January 6.
Honest Burger co-founders Philip Eeles and Tom Barton began their business cooking burgers at a friend’s part in a tent in Brighton in 2010.
Today, the burger chain operates dozens of restaurants having opened their first official restaurant in Brixton.
