Hundreds of homes were left without water due to a burst main.
Homes across the Polegate area lost their supply on Sunday afternoon after a water main burst in the Dittons Road area.
South East Water said water has since been restored to homes yesterday evening following the outage.
A spokesman for the water company apologised to customers in an online update, adding: "This has been caused by a burst main which we are trying to fix as quickly as we can.
"We are pleased to report that the repair is now complete and we are slowly returning the water to the pipework. This has to be done in a controlled way to prevent any further issues."
Issues with the water supply were first reported shortly after 2pm on Sunday, November 25 and were fixed by around 8.30pm that evening.
Reports suggest the outage affected hundreds of homes in the Polegate area.
The disruption came amid widespread issues across Sussex caused by Storm Bert.
