A burger restaurant has announced its festive menu which it promises will make “the merriest of Christmases even for the grinch of the group”.
MEATliquor, on York Place in Brighton, has announced its “XXXmas” menu which includes a turkey burger, BBQ mustard pigs in blankets and a sprout slaw.
Available from November 18, the menu includes Santa’s Little Gobbler: a fried turkey burger with red-eye mayo, sprout slaw, and a kick of cranberry hot sauce to bring it all together.
Also on offer is Xmac ‘n’ Cheesier with cranberry hot sauce and pigs in blankets smothered with mustard BBQ sauce.
The sprout slaw combines Brussels sprouts and cabbage with MEATliquor’s signature remoulade.
All this can be washed down with a Winter Cosmo (Hot or Cold): Finlandia Vodka, cranberry, kumquat, clarified lime, and a spiced cordial.
For £45 per person, the Christmas menu offers a choice of starters, a burger of choice for main and a side with a cocktail on arrival.
Starters include pigs in blankets, deep fried pickles with a blue cheese dip or buffalo wings “slathered” in home-made buffalo sauce.
Mains include Santa’s Little Gobbler, the Dead Hippie™, Garlic ‘Shroom (V) and Tempeh Tantrum (PB).
Sides include Salt ‘n’ Pepper Fries (PB), Xmac ‘n’ Cheesier (V), Onion Blings (PB) just and Sprout Slaw (V).
