Crews tackled a fire at a residential property.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to Allington Road in Newick, near Haywards Heath, at around 3pm yesterday, November 20.
The emergency service reported that four fire engines from Uckfield and Crowborough were in attendance, with support from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.

The public were asked to avoid the area.
Crews began to scale back their response at around 4.30pm, with firefighters damping down the scene to ensure the blaze was fully extinguished.
There were no reports of any casualties.
