A former sports trainer has been jailed after being found with weapons, cash and over a kilogram of cocaine.
Callum Stuart was stopped in his car when police officers found a knife, a knuckleduster and £1,500 in cash in January 2022.
Further searches of Stuart’s home later found 1.2kg of cocaine, worth an estimated £100,000, and £43,000 in cash.
Drugs paraphernalia and burner phones were also found.
A hearing at Lewes Crown Court was told how Stuart, of Greenfields Road in Horley, was stopped in East Grinstead on January 10, 2022.
Officers in the search in Stoneleigh Close found the knife, knuckleduster and cash alongside some herbal cannabis.
Sussex Police later searched an address linked to Stuart in London Road, East Grinstead and found the six-figure cocaine haul and thousands of pounds in cash.
Stuart admitted supplying cocaine, money laundering, possession of cannabis and possession of an offensive weapon in public.
He was sentenced to four years in prison.
Sussex Police Detective Inspector Gary Jacobs said: “Specialist Enforcement Unit officers routinely patrol the road network with the intention of disrupting criminal networks using the roads here in Sussex.
“We are determined to disrupt the supply of drugs, and other organised criminality, which cause so much harm in our communities.
“Following the investigation by our community investigation team, Stuart had no choice but to plead guilty when the case went to court.
“We are pleased that this has been reflected in a significant custodial sentence in court.”
