Camera club members made the most of the winter sun as they snapped the seaside in all of its autumnal glory.
As winter looms, photographers took to beaches from across Sussex to take pictures of the best parts of the county’s seafronts and beaches.
Brighton’s Palace Pier featured as a backdrop for some of Rose Jones’s golden hour snaps on the beach.
Seagullls swarmed near the pier picking off the scraps of the brave few sat eating on the beach while dog owners watched their pets paddling in the brisk winter sea.
And, on the other side of the pier, Claire Andrews caught the mesmerising starling murmuration out across the sea.
In Seaford, seagulls once again took centre stage in Tom Shakespeare’s snaps.
A pair of seagulls posed for photos atop a car while others took flight into the darkening winter sky.
The Argus Camera Club is a community group for photographers to share their photos of Brighton, Hove and Sussex as well as get tips and advice and talk to fellow photographers.
