A club which has been a “cornerstone” of the local artistic community for over half a century will be showcasing its work in an annual show.
Founded more than 50 years ago, the Adur Art Club has grown into a “vibrant hub” for artists of all skill levels.
At its annual exhibition, held this year on November 23 and 24, visitors will have the chance to view and purchase an array of artworks, from paintings and sketches to mixed media pieces.
The exhibition will be opened on November 23 by Tom Rutland, MP for East Worthing and Shoreham.
The club meets every Thursday from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Shoreham Centre on Pond Road.
Member Lesley Tomlinson said: “Our weekly meetings are a blend of camaraderie and artistic exploration, where members can share their work, receive constructive feedback, and participate in a variety of activities designed to enhance their skills and appreciation for the arts.”
