Several pets in Sussex are looking for their forever homes, including at the Sussex North & Brighton branch of the RSPCA.

Whether you want to adopt a dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig, there is plenty of choice.

A few animals from the branch are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.

To help the Sussex North & Brighton branch carry on their work you can donate to them at the website here.

Stella

StellaStella (Image: RSPCA) Gender - Female

Age - Six to 12 months old

Breed - Staffordshire Bull Terrier crossbreed

Colour - Red and White

If you want to adopt Stella you can view their full profile here.

Stella is described as a "friendly" and "affectionate" dog who is happy to greet everyone she meets.

She knows how to sit, lay down and give paw but will need some further training.

Alongside that, she can be quite strong on the lead when she decides she wants to go somewhere.

Ideally, Stella is looking for an active home where she will not be left on her own for too long.

She will need her own garden and an owner who has plenty of time for her training.

Phoenix

Age - Five years old

Breed - Husky (Siberian)

Colour - White

If you want to adopt Phoenix you can view their full profile here.

Phoenix is said to be a "sweet, friendly, older girl" who came into the care of the RSPCA as an unclaimed stray.

She is very calm on walks "although she does still try to pounce on and catch the odd vole if given the chance".

The RSPCA adds: "She tries to be clean in her kennel so should be housetrained and would prefer a calmer home environment."

Phoenix has been sociable with other dogs as long as they are not too energetic, so may be able to live with a calm dog in a new home.

Biscuit

Age - Two years old

Breed - Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Colour - White

If you want to adopt Biscuit you can view their full profile here.

Biscuit is described as "a very lovely, friendly girl who also has a sensitive side".

She is very scared of loud noises, bangs and probably shouting due to her past experiences.

The RSPCA adds: "Apart from this she really is a superb girl who will be a great, fun-loving companion. She loves to play, especially with a ball but will need some further training."

Biscuit is looking for an active family who is prepared to put time into her training.

Alf and Sarina

Alf and SarinaAlf and Sarina (Image: RSPCA) Gender - Male (Alf) and Female (Sarina)

Age - Four years old

Breed - Crossbreed

Colour - White

If you want to adopt Alf and Sarina you can view their full profile here.

Alf and Sarina came into the care of the RSPCA after being found abandoned, and are looking to find a home together.

The RSPCA adds: "Alf likes to think he is in charge but in reality Sarina is the one in charge, she is small and mighty, with a strong personality! They are a mismatched couple but they do get on very well."

Ideally, the pair would go to an experienced rabbit home, in part due to Sarina's stubborn character.

They would benefit from having a secure area to run around in outside, to use up their pent-up energy.
