A friendly and affectionate cat is in desperate need of adoption.
Callie, a two-year-old tortoiseshell, came to Worthing Cat Welfare Trust after her loving owner had to give her up due to health reasons.
According to the trust, she loves a head scratch and is “very expressive and vocal” with a “great character”.
Due to her lively nature, the charity says she is becoming increasingly bored indoors and needs to “resume her life exploring the great outdoors, away from very busy roads”.

The “strikingly beautiful” cat, who is spayed, fully vaccinated and healthy, has been living in a flat with foster carers for the past six weeks, but is ready to find her permanent home.
Callie is in need of an “experienced, patient cat owner” with no young children and a garden. The charity says she would also be best suited as an only pet.
Those interested in adopting Callie should visit worthingcatwelfaretrust.org to fill in an online form. The trust will then arrange a home visit.
