Fatboy Slim has been preparing for his latest DJ performance by taking up a second job and helping to check people into Butlins.
Groups of people checking into the holiday resort for the Hove DJ’s upcoming show in Minehead received a surprise as they arrived at the check in desk to find him at the entrance providing information for their stay.
The DJ, real name Norman Cook, even took the time to sign the guests’ welcome information in the “surreal” meeting.
Carl Woodsford, 45, who was checked in for the event by Fatboy Slim, said: “He was on the entrance checking everyone in.
“It was a bit surprising and super cool. He was being very professional.
“It was a bit surreal. He signed the map with the introduction information about Butlins.
“We’re looking forward to the weekend. It will be a mad, crazy one.”
Fatboy Slim is preparing to play his All Back to Minehead event at the resort this weekend.
It comes as he also prepares to play two gigs in Brighton next month.
Fatboy Slim will play the gigs at The Arch in Kings Road in aid of hospice charity Martlets.
