Asda staff at the Brighton Marina store will push a Pudsey-themed trolley around the store this month as part of a fundraising challenge.

The Push for Pudsey initiative aims to raise funds for BBC Children in Need this November, using the bear mascot.

Launched by fitness guru Joe Wicks, the goal is to collectively cover 24,900 miles—the equivalent of the Earth's circumference—across various Asda locations, including stores and depots.

The fundraising challenge will run from November 1 to 14, with the total amount raised revealed during the BBC Children in Need appeal show on Friday, November 15.

Fiona Goldie, customer and community champion at Asda Brighton Marina, said: "We have supported BBC Children in Need for over 24 years, and we are always looking at new fun ways to fundraise.

"We’re really keen to do our bit and to contribute as many miles as possible to the overall total.

"However, the challenge isn’t just about distance; it's about making a difference, and we can’t wait to get involved and hope our customers will also join in the fun."

Customers can donate in-store, via a QR code on the trolley, or online.
