A man has been convicted of the charge of sexual communications with a child after sending pictures to the profile of a 13-year-old girl.
Sacha Dixey, 47, sent messages, selfies, sexual comments and a sexual image to a child profile on social media between November 10, 2021, and November 22, 2021.
Dixey, of Mayfield Close, Bognor, posed as a 39-year-old man from London.
He was arrested on November 30, 2021, and was charged with sexual communications with a child and arranging and facilitating sexual offences with a child.
Police set up child profiles to catch paedophiles online but have not confirmed if this is what happened in regards to Dixey.

Dixey denied the offences and blamed the messages on another man who he said was staying with him. He also used the name of a person he knew as a username for the profile.
Following a four day trial at Lewes Crown Court, beginning on October 28, he was found guilty.
He is due to be sentenced on December 12 at Lewes Crown Court.
Investigator Rose Horan said: “Dixey was prepared to use the names of his associates rather than admit his guilt. He is now a convicted sex offender.
