Three bins for angling waste are being installed along Selsey's coastline to help prevent damage to wildlife.
The new initiative has been set up by the Selsey Beach Litter Ninjas group in partnership with the Anglers National Line Recycling Scheme (ANLRS).
The bins will be installed on East Beach, near the Oval Field, and near the Coastguard tower.
They will be used to safely dispose of any lines, weights, hooks and other angling waste found on the beach or to be disposed of after use.
The contents will then be collected, with the help of ANLRS, and recycled appropriately through its sister organisation, Reap UK.
The Selsey Beach Litter Ninjas have recycled more than 400 kilos so far this year.
A spokesperson for the Selsey Beach Litter Ninjas said: "Hopefully this will help to prevent damage to wildlife such as seen recently in Selsey."
The bins will be fitted on Monday, November 11, with the first, at the top of the slipway, East Beach, at 11am.
