A leading indie rock band has been announced for a seafront festival next year.
The Kaiser Chiefs will play at Brighton’s On The Beach festival on July 27, it has been revealed.
The Leeds band, responsible for hits I Predict a Riot and Ruby, will be celebrating 20 years since the release of their debut album, Employment.
In a post on Instagram, the band said: “We’ve seen your comments and we’re excited to announce that we’re adding some more headline shows to celebrate 20 years of Employment.
“We’re also playing some festivals next year. Set your alarms, pre-sale for the additional headline shows starts at 9am on Thursday, November 7, and general sale starts Friday, November 8, at 9am.”

Rock band Bloc Party have also been announced for July 20, with tickets available now at blocparty-brighton.com.
The festival will run over two weekends - July 18 to July 20 and July 25 to July 27.
Last year, the festival featured Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, DJ Eric Prydz and The Vaccines.
