A woman has been arrested in a quiet close in a fraud investigation.
The 28-year-old from Hove was arrested in Farmway Close as neighbours reported seeing officers arrive.
The woman has been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
Neighbours in Hangleton reported seeing police officers arrive in Farmway Close on October 23.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “We can confirm a 28-year-old woman from Hove was arrested on 23 October on suspicion of fraud by false representation.
“She has been released on conditional bail until 23 January, as enquiries continue.”
