A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire at a tanning salon.
The 61-year-old man from Hampshire was arrested on Saturday morning on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life after TanTastic in Broadwater Street, Worthing, went up in flames last week.
The man has been bailed until January 24 pending further enquiries.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “A 61-year-old man from Wickham, Hampshire, was arrested in Hampshire on Saturday morning on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
“He has been released on conditional bail until 24 January, as enquiries continue.”
