A 14-year-old girl was reportedly sexually assaulted in a leisure park garden.
Sussex Police are investigating after the teenager was reportedly sexually assaulted near a path in Maltravers Leisure Park on Friday evening.
The girl’s family are being supported by specialist officers.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl, which occurred in the vicinity of St Winefrides Road, Littlehampton, at about 7.15pm on Friday, October 25.
“Officers have provided specialist support to the girl and her family, and enquiries are ongoing.
“In the meantime, anyone with any information is asked to report it online or call 101, quoting crime reference 47240208787.”
Officers remained on the scene this morning with the paths around the leisure park cordoned off with police tape.
