New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to establishments in Brighton and Hove and Worthing, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

- Rated 4: Royal Sovereign, Preston Street, Brighton, rated on September 17
- Rated 5: Project:Caffeine, Chapel Road, Worthing, rated on October 21
- Rated 5: Gail's Worthing, Warwick Street, Worthing, rated on October 16
- Rated 2: The Pantry Bakery, South Farm Road, Worthing, rated on September 18
- Rated 5: En Route, South Street, Worthing, rated on October 23
- Rated 5: La dolce vita at The Promenade, Worthing, rated on October 23
- Rated 3: Fillets fish and chips, Dominion Road, Worthing, rated on September 18
What the ratings mean:
There are six different ratings a venue can be awarded from 0 to 5.
5 - Hygiene standards are very good
4 – Hygiene standards are good
3 – Hygiene standards are generally satisfactory
2 – Some improvement is necessary
1 – Major improvement is necessary
0 – Urgent improvement is required
