A Grade II* listed garden is hosting a range of Christmas events this year.
Borde Hill, near Haywards Heath, has announced its “programme full of festive joy” for families and garden lovers.
Festive craft workshops will be on offer, including watercolour Christmas card making led by expert botanical artist Penny Sanderson. Guests will also get to enjoy a mince pie and a hot drink.
A Christmas candle making workshop will be held by the founder of Worthing-based business Wax and Willow, while professional florist Barbara Mole will lead “relaxed” two-hour workshops on crafting Christmas wreaths.
Young visitors to the gardens can enjoy an “enchanting trail” through the grounds, aimed at children aged between three and eight. Tickets are £4.50.

There will also be a chance to visit Santa in his grotto each weekend during the same period, where children can take part in festive crafts, including creating a door hanger to guide Santa on his way.
Visits will take place in the garden marquee and must be pre-booked. Tickets are £15, covering entry for one child and one adult, as well as admission to the garden and adventure playground. An additional adult can be added for £6 extra.
The garden will be open from 10am until 3.30pm, November 30 until December 22. Tickets can be purchased on the Borde Hill website.
