A celebrity has been spotted filming a hit TV show in a Sussex town.

People living in Heathfield, near Uckfield, have seen film crews in Tower Street over the past week.

Some said they saw Stacey Solomon drive past. It is thought she has been there with her team to film an episode of her popular BBC programme Sort Your Life Out.

Stacey rose to fame when she stunned judges of The X Factor in 2009 and came third.

She went on to have a successful career in television and won I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! the following year.

Her show Sort Your Life Out has followed families for four series as Stacey and her team help them declutter their home over seven days.

The aim is for people's homes to then be decluttered so they can better organise their lives.

Stacey is joined by colleagues Dilly Carter, Robert Bent and Iwan Carrington in the show.

Writing on Facebook, Katharine Walter said: "I saw Stacey, Dilly, Rob and Iwan out there on Friday with the camera crew!"

Guest celebrities often feature on the series to help Stacey and her team out.

Previous guests included her husband and ex-Eastenders actor Joe Swash and cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch.

Stacey Solomon picked up the first prize of the night at the National Television Awards this September with her reality show Sort Your Life Out.

It beat Clarkson’s Farm, Gogglebox, The Martin Lewis Money Show Live and The Yorkshire Vet in the factual entertainment category.

As the presenter collected the prize, she thanked the families who opened up their homes and hearts to her for the show.

The BBC has been contacted for comment.
