A yellow weather warning for fog has been issued.
The Met Office has warned of “dense fog” in the south east which will delay travel.
It said that delays to bus and train services are possible, while there is a chance of delays and cancellations to flights.
Commuters should check road conditions before driving, allow extra time for journeys and ensure fog lights are working.

A spokesman for the weather forecaster said: “Areas of fog, including some dense patches reducing visibility to less than 100 metres at times, will impact travel during the morning rush hour.
“Fog will, however, slowly lift and clear through this morning.”
The warning is in place until 9am today.
