A number of public toilets have been temporarily closed due to staff shortages.
Adur District Council and Worthing Borough Council have announced that several of its facilities have been shut as they are unable to keep them clean.
In Adur, public toilets at Adur recreation ground and Shoreham beach green are now closed.
In Worthing, toilets at Goring Greensward, George V Avenue, Pond Lane recreation ground and Church House grounds in Tarring are shut.
The councils hope they will be reopened from Friday, October 18, but disruption may resume from October 22.

A spokesman for the councils said: “We’ve had to temporarily close some of our public toilets due to an unforeseen staff shortage in our cleaning team.
“Unfortunately this means we are unable to monitor and clean all of our sites at this time. We have therefore closed a number of public facilities across Adur and Worthing, but have prioritised keeping the busiest ones open.
“Normal service will resume from Friday 18th October to Monday 21st October due to a change in the team’s rota, but we may need to apply the same closures from Tuesday 22nd October to Friday 25th October if the team are still down on numbers.
“We’re sorry for any problems this might cause you. Thank you for your understanding.”
