Halloween is fast approaching now, but before the big day itself, there will be numerous events related to the festivities taking place in Brighton and Hove.
Whether you want to enjoy some arts and crafts, pumpkin picking and more, you'll be spoilt for choice.
Here is a round-up of all the various Halloween-related activities taking place in Brighton and Hove over the next couple of weeks.
Halloween events taking place in Brighton and Hove for 2024
Pumpkin Picking Patch and more at Preston Manor
Address: Preston Manor, Preston Drove, Brighton BN1 6SD
Preston Manor will have pumpkin picking available on its site from Friday, October 18 to Thursday, October 31.
That won't be all though, as entry includes "a spooky mystery trail through the pumpkin patch and gardens".
They add: "Enjoy craft workshops, pumpkin carving, marshmallow toasting, face painting and more."

An Evening at the BOOth Museum: Halloween Edition
Address: Booth Museum of Natural History, 194 Dyke Road, Brighton BN1 5AA
Taking place between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Friday, October 25, the evening session will have a spooky focus.
A synopsis of the event states: "Be our guest for this very special evening at the Booth with an autumnal twist. With behind-the-scenes taster tours, Booth favourite taxidermist Jazmine Miles-Long and some spooktacular surprises in store, don’t be too afraid to book your ticket for this eerie evening. Come dressed up and win a prize for best Halloween costume."
Additionally, guests will be joined by the Brighton and Hove theatre performers Club Silencio.

Halloween Silent Disco at Brighton's Palace Pier

The Silent DJs will be performing at Brighton's Palace Pier on Thursday, October 31.
From 6pm to 7.30pm the tunes will be aimed more for the kids, whilst it will be aimed at adults between 8.30pm and 11pm.
A synopsis of the event states: "The Silent DJ's bring their sell out Halloween gig to Brighton's Palace Pier. Join hundreds of other Halloween souls for hours of incredible tunes spun by our three top class DJ's over three channels."

Haunted Happenings: A Ghost Tour for Young People
Address: Preston Manor, Preston Drove, Brighton BN1 6SD
Preston Manor will be hosting a ghost tour on Tuesday, October 29 between 3pm and 4pm.
A synopsis for the event states: "Do you dare explore one of Britain’s most haunted houses? This guided tour will take you all around this spooky historic house.
"As you explore, you will uncover tales of the ghostly sightings and supernatural experiences as told throughout Brighton’s rich history. Will you catch a glimpse of the White Lady or the disembodied hand on the staircase?"

Hove Art Club - Halloween special
Address: Hove Museum of Creativity, 19 New Church Road, Hove BN3 4AB
This art workshop will allow kids to get creative and design their own "terrifying ghosts, zombies or vampires".
It will run on Thursday, October 31 with sessions from 10.30am to 12pm and 2pm to 3.30pm.
The session is aimed at children between the ages of 5 and 13, with children needing to be accompanied by an adult.

Booth Art Club - Halloween special

Similar to the Hove Art Club, this workshop will allow kids to get creative with a Halloween theme.
A synopsis of the activity states: "Draw some strange and creepy creatures from the Booth Museum Collection and create your own spooktacular monsters in this special Halloween workshop."
It will take place on Wednesday, October 30 with sessions from 12.30pm to 2pm and 3pm to 4.30pm.
The session is aimed at children between the ages of 5 and 13, with children needing to be accompanied by an adult.

Halloween Family Fun Day
Address: Emmaus, Drove Road, Brighton BN41 2PA
Emmaus will be running a Halloween Family Fun Day on Saturday, October 26 from 10am to 4pm.
There will be plenty going on including a spooky tour of their site, a live Halloween DJ, a scary photo booth, and a kids' colouring competition in the café.
Additionally, Halloween decorations, pre-loved costumes and themed sweet treats will be for sale.

Kids Halloween Party at The Park Crescent
Address: 39 Park Crescent Terrace, Brighton BN2 3HE
The Park Crescent pub will be hosting a free kid's Halloween party on Saturday, October 26.
Activities will include pumpkin carving, spooky story time, face painting and a costume contest with prizes.
On their event page on Facebook, it says: "There will also be creepy cocktails for the grown ups + more tricks or treats. This is a FREE event, so get your best costume on, bring your little’s and come along for some Halloween magic!"
