From slime making to magic shows, a Grade II* listed garden is offering an autumn of fun for its visitors.
Borde Hill, near Haywards Heath, has announced its plans for the season and is inviting garden enthusiasts and families to come along.
There will be a range of Halloween fun including a Whodunnit children's trail which promises spooky excitement for all the family.
Half term activities bring the season to life with reptile encounters, explosive experiments and a monster party that will "delight and thrill", a Borde Hill spokeswoman said.
Ginkgo Coffee Shop, which opened earlier this year, is also offering a space to keep cosy and warm.

Nestled just inside the garden's gift shop, the cafe serves up barista coffee, specialist teas and a range of sweet treats.
The spokeswoman added: "Autumn is a particularly special time to visit Borde Hill. With its picturesque views and rich spread of golds and russets across the award-winning trees and foliage, it is the perfect place for an autumn stroll and to immerse yourself in a myriad of colour."
Borde Hill will be open daily from 10am to 5pm up until December 22.
Events start at £2 per child. Garden admission is required and tickets cost £12 for adults, £11.50 for concessions and £8 for children (three to 16 years).
