A popular seafront café is getting a new extension.
Sea Lane Café in Goring has been welcoming customers to its temporary marquee since the Covid pandemic to provide extra outdoor dining space.
Now, it will be getting a permanent structure in an “exciting change” for the business.
A spokesman said: “Work on our new extension kicks off on November 4, and we can’t wait for you to see what we have in store.
“Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to welcoming you to our expanded space very soon.”
Customers have shared their joy at the news, with many looking forward to visiting the new facilities.

One wrote: “So pleased, love this place. We fought for the free parking, now improvements sound brilliant.
“Always lovely staff, especially the youngsters. Well done and good luck.”
The café has said it will remain open until November 11, when it will close until November 15.
The takeaway shop will remain open as usual throughout.
