A neighbourhood pub is set to reopen with a new name.
The Bell Tower in Arundel Road, Kemp Town, Brighton, is opening in what was Daddy Longlegs.
Contractors have painted the pub, which was white and blue, light and dark green.
The pub was a favourite among nearby residents and was known for its Sunday roasts.
It has been acquired by Golden Lion Group, a pub company owned by Dave Day.
Golden Lion Group also runs other favourite bars in the city including The Cricketers in Black Lion Street and Ladies Mile in Patcham.

The Bell Tower is due to open this week, by Friday, and will be the seventh pub owned by Mr Day's company.
As well as a lick of paint, the pub has been refurbished on the inside.
A spokeswoman for Golden Lion Group said: "We’re excited to see how both the old customers of Daddy Longlegs and new customers alike enjoy the pub’s new look and feel. The Bell Tower will build on the great reputation Daddy Longlegs had for its food and service and give a new fresh look to the property.
"We’ve also freshened up the drinks range to include beers from local breweries and aim to bring the whole Golden Lion Group experience to this lovely pub"
