A shopper has told of his horror at finding a plastic pot with what he thinks was urine in it on the shelves of a discount store.
The customer, who did not wish to be named, was browsing the shelves in Poundland in London Road, Brighton, when he noticed the tub filled with a "warm, yellow liquid".
He said: "I only went in for Tupperware pots as I keep losing them recently so needed to replace them.
"I was horrified when I saw the pot of warm, yellow liquid at the back of the shelf.
"It definitely looked like wee and the tub even had condensation in it.
"It was disgusting. It is either urine or someone is playing a horrible prank, but the pots should be sealed properly so no one can put anything in them before you buy them.
"I don't know how long it was in there but it must have not been long as it was still warm.
"I hurried out of the shop because I found it too grim to stay. I am not sure I will go back to that shop now."

READ MORE:The shopper said he left the store on Sunday empty handed.
A Poundland spokesman said: "The store team themselves spotted the container and disposed of it without identifying what was in it. Nevertheless, they've also disinfected the area and given the shelves a thorough clean.
"No-one reported the find to us on Sunday - either at the store or through our central customer service team. If they get in touch, we will gladly keep them updated as we look at how it got there."
The Argus understands the team looked through CCTV footage in the store.
But the shopper was so shocked he did not report the finding at the time and wanted to leave the shop.
