A man who scaled scaffolding on a hospital has been arrested.
Police had to close Eastern Road in Brighton for several hours after the man refused to come down from the scaffolding outside the derelict Hanbury building at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
The man was arrested and safely detained, Sussex Police said.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “A man who had scaled scaffolding around a building in Eastern Road, Brighton, on Monday morning and refused to come down has been arrested and safely detained.
“We would like to thank the public for their patience and co-operation.”
