Bognor Regis: Inside Butlin's new indoor activity centre

Playxperience at Butlin’s in Bognor covers 50,000sqft across two floors and has nine activities on offer including escape rooms, laser tag, a VR arcade as well as a café and bar.

Marking the official opening, TV personalities and recent Celebrity Race Across The World participants Jeff and Freddy Brazier visited Butlin’s to have a first look inside the complex.

“As a family we’re generally quite competitive and enjoy getting hands on with activities and games in our spare time, so this was right up our street.

“While Butlin’s has always been known for having an amazing range of activities for little ones it’s great to see something new that will be of real interest to teenagers and mates on a big weekender. There are enough games on offer to suit everyone, old or young, big or small and bring them together to make memories you can look back on fondly.”

Freddy also enjoyed the day out.

“There’s so much on offer with Playxperience and we’ve loved being able to be the first to test out all these new games,” he said.

“It’s always fun taking on my dad and having that competitive element was like being back in the race, it was so enjoyable.

“With so many options to choose from, we could have kept going for hours. I can’t wait to come back again with my mates.”

Each gaming zone has its own theme and immersive experience, with games suitable for children from the age of three through to adults. Guests can include Playxperience in their stay by buying tokens in advance or while on the resort.
