A new pan-Asian restaurant will open in the city centre today.

Moonlight will serve Thai, Japanese and Indonesian cuisine to diners at its restaurant in New Road.

On its website, the owners said: "Welcome to Moonlight, where we blend the best of Asia's culinary treasures into one unforgettable dining experience.

"Moonlight is located in the heart of Brighton, just a stone's throw away from the Palace Pier and railway station.

"Our restaurant captures Indonesia's tropical essence with lush green decor and natural elements. Enjoy a serene dining experience that brings the tranquility of Indonesia's tropical landscapes to the city's lively atmosphere."

The restaurant opens in what was Longrain, a Thai restaurant which has moved to Church Road in Hove. 

A Longrain spokesman said: "First finding our feet in the heart of Brighton, we have now moved to a new and improved location in Hove, allowing us to offer you an even better dining experience."

Moonlight will be open from 11am to 11pm daily.
