Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash. 

A car and a tractor were involved in the incident on the A259 in Nutbourne, near Chichester, today, October 3. 

South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene at around 11.20am.

Two people, who were travelling in the car, were treated at the scene and taken to St Richard's Hospital in Chichester.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were also called to the incident, where crews rescued a person from the car.

First aid was also administered by the fire service to another person. 

The road remains temporarily closed following the crash.
