An A-road has reopened following a serious lorry crash.
Four people were seriously injured on the A267 in Cross in Hand, near Heathfield, after a sewage tanker rolled onto the side of the road.
Police attended the incident at around 7am yesterday, October 1, and closed the road while vehicle recovery and forensic examinations took place.

The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
The A267 has now reopened.
A spokesman for the force said: "We’d like to thank the public for their patience and understanding. Diversion signs are in place.
"In the meantime, officers are urging anyone who saw what happened to email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk quoting Operation Hales.
"In particular, police are keen to hear from anyone who drove past but did not stop at the scene, who may have dash cam or mobile footage."
