A beloved dog was rushed to the vets after inhaling a stone while playing a game of fetch.
Rocky the German Shepherd likes to play with stone and chase them but was forced to head to the vets after inhaling one of the pebbles.
But the four-year-old pup was back in action shortly after as vets were able to remove the stone he had inhaled which were causing him to struggle breathing.
Rocky’s owner, Ioana Tamas, from Eastbourne, said: “Rocky likes to play with rocks and one day when he was chasing one, he inhaled it. He was struggling to breathe and we were so worried.
“He had never done anything like that before and it was a traumatising experience.
“Rocky is much better and back to his normal self, although we are not letting him play with rocks anymore.”
Ioana was forced to take Rocky to vets in Winchester in Hampshire after he began coughing and struggling to breath the day after he inhaled the stone.
Victoria Neale, vet at Anderson Moore's vets in Winchester, used a camera to find the stone in Rocky’s bronchus, the tube leading into his lung, and remove it.
