The annual dog ban on beaches in summer has come to an end.
A range of bathing beaches across Sussex ban dogs from May 1 until September 30 each year to keep the beaches “clean, safe and accessible”.
The ban, which has now been lifted, includes Brighton’s central beach and many other popular sites in the county.
