New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to nine of Brighton and Hove’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows - and they all received the top mark of five.

They are:

Burger King, King's Road, Brighton, rated on September 21

Roasta, Terminus Road, Brighton, rated on September 19

Nanima Asian Kitchen And Cafe, St George's Road, Brighton, rated on September 17

Rockwater, Kingsway, Hove, rated on September 11

Bohemia, Meeting House Lane, Brighton, rated on September 26

What the ratings mean:

There are six different ratings a venue can be awarded from 0 to 5.

5 - Hygiene standards are very good

4 – Hygiene standards are good

3 – Hygiene standards are generally satisfactory

2 – Some improvement is necessary

1 – Major improvement is necessary

0 – Urgent improvement is required
