Armed police gave a rapper special treatment as they escorted him through gridlocked city centre traffic.

ArrDee, real name Riley Davis, from Woodingdean, was filmed cutting through busy motorway traffic last night on his way to a festival gig - with armed police either side of his convoy.

The Body singer was sipping on a glass of alcohol in a convoy of luxury vehicles through the Kenyan capital yesterday evening while armed police directed traffic from the back of a Toyota truck.

The motorcade moved from lane to lane in busy rush hour Nairobi traffic on the way to the Walker Town festival in the capital's Laureate Gardens - with other artists on the bill including Lauryn Hill and Nigerian act Rema.

ArrDee studied at Northbrook College in Worthing and rose to fame with his track Body in 2021. His other tracks have mentioned his home city of Brighton, filmed around the city's landmarks, such as Pier Pressure and Oliver Twist.
