Strong winds are battering the Sussex coast after a night of heavy rain.
Gusts of up to 50mph are set to hit Eastbourne this afternoon, while speeds will reach as much as 43mph in Brighton.
According to weather tracker Climates To Travel, the average wind speeds for Brighton in September are just 11mph.
The strong winds mean that the 16C temperature will feel cooler at around just 13C.

Wind speeds will drop slightly this evening set but the weather will remain blustery across much of the county into Tuesday.
The gusts have caused some travel disruption with Battle Road in Dallington, near Heathfield, blocked both ways with slow traffic after a tree fell between South Lane and Rookery Lane.
Volks Electric Railway on Brighton seafront was set to have its last day of the season today but is not running due to the high wind speeds.
A spokesman for the railway said: "The railway is currently suspended. Sorry for any inconvenience caused."
