Two men have been arrested for aggravated burglary after a man was taken to hospital.
Sussex Police were called to Southdown Close in Newhaven on Saturday at around 9pm.
A man and a woman reported being assaulted by two men known to them, who fled the scene.

The man was taken to hospital, although his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A 51-year-old man from Newhaven and a 42-year-old man from Seaford have since been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and remain in custody.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Anyone with information that could support the investigation is asked to contact police online or via 101, quoting serial 1133 of 28/09.”
