A person was rescued from a river by emergency services.
On Thursday, September 26, HM Coastguard was alerted to a person in the water at the River Adur in Shoreham at around 2.30pm.
Rescue teams attended the scene, alongside an RNLI lifeboat from Shoreham, Sussex Police, South Central Ambulance Service and West Sussex Fire and Rescue.

The person was brought to safety before they were taken to Worthing Hospital for further treatment.
A spokesman for Shoreham RNLI said: "Our inshore lifeboat crew were part of an emergency service response to a report of a person in the water in the River Adur at Shoreham on Thursday afternoon.
"The casualty managed to get out of the water on to the river bank into the care of emergency services."
