Two men have been arrested in relation to a rape on Brighton seafront - and police are still hunting for a third man.

Sussex Police previously appealed to find three men who are thought to be linked to a rape between Brighton's piers on the morning of September 8.

The force have now made two arrests but a third man is yet to be found.

A spokesman for the force said two men, both 19, were arrested in London on suspicion of rape, voyeurism and sexual assault by touching.

They have since been bailed.

Police have now issued further CCTV images of a third man they are seeking in relation to the alleged attack.

Chief Inspector Simon Marchant said: "Since the report, patrols have been enhanced on Brighton seafront, with our partners supporting the ongoing efforts.

"We are still looking to speak with a man as seen in the photograph in relation to this investigation and ask anyone who recognises him or who has information to assist our enquiries to make a report to police."

You can make a report online, or by calling 101 quoting Operation Charlbury. Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to police via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
