A tree fell on to cars during a blustery wet night in Sussex.
The county has been battered by heavy rain and wind for several days and a number of weather warnings have been put in place.
Rectory Gardens in Sompting had to be closed after a tree was brought down onto vehicles this morning.
Yesterday, the Tornado and Storm Research Organisation (Torro) warned the county could be hit by brief tornadoes, hail and gusty winds of up to 50 mph, although none materialised.
The tornado warning came amid a yellow weather warning for rain from the Met Office, which ended at 9am today.
The weather service said heavy rain could cause flooding and travel disruption.
The Met Office forecasts a dryer weekend for Sussex.
For Saturday in the South East the weather service said people can expect: “A cold, clear start with rural grass frost. Plenty of sunshine through the day and staying dry. Maximum temperature 14 °C.”
While for Sunday it said: “Increasing cloud through Sunday, rain and wind arriving in the evening, lasting throughout Monday. Rain gradually clears Tuesday with sunny spells and showers following. Temperatures near normal or rather cold.”
