A production of dystopian thriller 1984 is coming to Brighton.
The adaptation of George Orwell’s classic is set to play at the Theatre Royal at the end of October as part of its UK tour.
The play will celebrate 75 years since the publication of the ground-breaking book which explores totalitarian states and a dystopian future.

It will star actor Keith Allen, known for The Young Ones and The Pembrokeshire Murders, who will play mysterious antagonist O’Brien.
Orwell’s novel explores the notion of a totalitarian regime and was written in the wake of the Second World War and against the rise of communist Russia.
The production will be at the Theatre Royal from October 29 to November 2.
