A man on a roof closed a road well into the night.
On Friday, September 20, Arun Road, in Bognor, was partially closed from around 1pm while police engaged with the man on the roof of a house.
Arun Police asked people to avoid the area while the incident was ongoing as they prioritised the safety of “the man, our officers and the wider public”.

A 28-year-old man from Bognor was arrested after being wanted on recall to prison, while another 28-year-old was arrested on suspicion of obstructing a police officer from carrying out their duty. He has been released on bail under investigation.
Sussex Police said the man on the roof was arrested at around 12.30am.
